God made Grandpas
Especially nice
They're better than bikes
And even white mice.

He made grandpas special
They're kind and patient too;
They always seem to love you
No matter what you do.

And my Grandpa is extra special
Because, cross my hearts all true
"Once upon a time" he was mine
And eveyone elses's grandpa ... Dr Who!

And for all the beloved grandmas and grandpas who live only in our memories ... a special tribute:
